  • Use Digital Dissertations (Library Home Page > Indexes and Databases A-Z > D > Digital Dissertations)
    • Includes dissertations and theses from over 550 universities
    • Searchabe by author, title, school, and date
    • Write down the title, author, school, and date
  • Use MNCAT (Library Home Page>Books and More>Search MNCAT) to see if the Libraries own the dissertation or thesis you found while searching Digital Dissertations.
    1. Search by author
    2. Write down the dissertation's or thesis' location and call number.

Dissertations and Theses Written at the University of Minnesota

  • Use MNCAT (Library Home Page>Books and More>Search MNCAT)
    1. Select Advanced Search (above search box)
    2. Type in your search in the first search box; choose appropriate setting in Combine drop-down box
    3. Type the word "thesis" in the next search box
    4. Write down the location and call number
