Collections

The University of Minnesota Libraries’ collection consists of nearly 7 million volumes and the Libraries have subscriptions to more than 77,000 journals. Print materials are located in 14 libraries, from which InfoNOW retrieves materials for clients. The Libraries rank 16th in collection size among the 113 largest research libraries in North American. We are a Federal Depository for United States government publications and also serve as a depository for United Nations, European Union, and Canadian publications. Our collections are broad in coverage, comprehensive, research-focused, and support more than 100 Ph.D. programs.
