Two Ways of Looking up Transcripts in Factiva: Searching or Browsing/Searching

Factiva contains transcripts from over a hundred media outlets, including transcripts from the Charlie Rose Show. Unfortunately, a list of the transcript sources available in Factiva is not easily generated. (Transcripts are also available in LexisNexis Academic.)
Searching

First, log in to Factiva.

Step 1: Enter keywords where it says Free Text and click "Run Search". Be prepared to change your keywords. For example, the search

charlie rose show and fiorina results in 0 hits, but the search

charlie rose and fiorina results in 1 hit.

Step 2: Next, click on the results link to view the transcript. There are options to print, to email or to save the transcript.

Step 6: Once you've selected your source, enter keywords where it says Free Text. Set date to "All Dates", unless you know when the program appeared. Next, click "Run Search".
