This list of described data sets originated with the 3rd Upper Midwest Conference on Demographics for Policy Analysis and have been updated for the 4th Upper Midwest Conference on Demographics for Policy Analysis. These data sets were chosen because they are heavily used, public and mostly freely accessible. Each profile below describes the survey, its design, access, documentation and history.
Where appropriate, users will be redirected the MetroGIS Socioeconomic Characteristics Database, which focuses on sources that provide data at small geographic levels.
