Columbia Encyclopedia
Offered through Answers.com, this sixth edition of the online Columbia Encyclopedia contains nearly 51,000 entries and more than 80,000 hypertext cross-references on a vast array of topics, and biographies on 17,000 individuals.

Encyclopedia Smithsonian
