    An important directory of 174,000 private and public companies worldwide along with their affiliates, subsidiaries, and divisions. Useful in determining if the company being researched is a parent or subsidiary owned by another corporation. Includes sales, officers, employees, locations, and product codes for all divisions.

    Million Dollar Database on the Internet (MDDI) from Dun and Bradstreet lists over 1.6 million in the U.S. Includes private and public companies with either sales of one million dollars, or 20+ employees or those branch locations with 50+ employees. Entries include contact information, executives, sales, employees, industry codes, business descriptions. Each firm is assigned a Duns number to create links for parent companies and their branches. Search features allow finding companies for viewing, sorting, printing and dowloading.

    Includes access to major directories for residential listings, businesses, and nonprofits. Includes U.S. Businesses a database of 14 million locations and the Canadian Businesses of 1.5 million companies. ReferenceUSA business directories are good for locating smaller businesses and franchise locations. Both business databases include search criteria for locating private and public companies using criteria such as location, size, industry, headquarters, etc. Other directories available include the U.S. Residential database of 210 million households and the Canadian Residential database of 12 million households. The HealthCare database lists 675,000 doctors and 180,000 dentists in the United States.

    Investext Plus contains research/analyst reports on companies and industries as well as annual statistical reports of industry trade associations. It contains over 700,000 reports, with thousands of new reports added each week.
