ESTIS Photocopy Request
There are fees for this service. U of MN students, staff and faculty should contact On Campus Delivery Services. For
loan requests, go to the Book Loan Requests page.
Copyright
The ESTIS document delivery service pays publisher set copyright royalties
to the Copyright Clearance Center on a per article basis. In most cases,
these fees will be a significant component in the final price of document
delivery. If you are concerned about the copyright royalties for your
request, we have assembled a short list of publishers and the fees paid to
the CCC for copying articles from the journals they publish. Please note
the fees quoted are current estimates, for budgeting purposes. The actual
fees may vary. You may also specify a price limit for your document request
below. An ESTIS staff member will contact you if the the total price of
document delivery will exceed your limit. Please take the copyright fees
into account when budgeting for document delivery.
Electronic Delivery
The ESTIS document delivery service offers electronic delivery options as
well as fax. This option is offered as a substitute for fax delivery, and
is considered a "paper in-paper out" transmission method, similar to
faxing. Articles scanned for electronic delivery by the ESTIS staff are not
retained electronically. Documents transmitted electronically must not be
forwarded electronically after they have been downloaded. They must not be
stored in electronic format, and must be deleted after a single copy has
been printed.
