SciFinder  SciFinder is the best database for chemistry-related topics. Registration is required, and you must download and log in to VPN for off-campus access. Access is contractually restricted to current U of MN faculty, students and staff (non-affiliate options).
SciFinder includes journal and patent references back to 1907,chemical regulatory data, and supplier, reaction, and substance information. SciFinder Mobile is best for quick searches and has limited functionality. It has no seat or IP access restrictions but requires a SciFinder account. [ more information ][ Add To myLibrary!] |
| Web of Science (ISI) The Web of Science is the Web interface for institutional sitewide access to the Science Citation Index. A citation index compiles cited references from journal articles and allows you to find articles that have cited older papers.
