This subject covers: the design of computers and the design of systems containing computing devices, including the design of workstation, mainframe and supercomputers; the design of communication control and signal processing systems with their special processors; and the design of instruments, appliances, toys, etc., that use microprocessors or microcontrollers. Closely related is electrical enginering.
