Get a taste of all things fair at Magrath Library. Magrath's collections include winning state fair recipes, books on fair culture and fair history, and even fair photography. Magrath is located on the St. Paul campus right next to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, so it's also a great place to stop and cool off during your own trip to the fair.
Pages of the 15th-century Gutenberg Bible, medical equipment used by early Minnesota physicians, and original manuscripts from children’s literature authors like Wanda Gag and Maud Hart Lovelace. Minnesotans don’t have to travel around the world to see such items in person. The University of Minnesota Libraries has a treasure trove of materials like this, and more, and it offers numerous access points for people to engage with them.
