Flights of Fantasy: Birds, Nature, and Art at Play

Flights of Fantasy features a flock of Minnesota birds in their habitats, interpreted in abstract ceramic compositions by artist Susan Feigenbaum, the 2019 recipient of an Artist Initiative grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. Special items from the AHL collection will be paired with artworks.

Tulips & Tulipomania

While we wait for the tulips to make an appearance in the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum gardens, enjoy stunning tulip prints by renowned artist Rory McEwen. The prints on display are scans of eight original limited edition prints that came with the 1977 book, Tulips & Tulipomania by Wilfrid Blunt, all part of the Andersen Horticultural Library collection.
