Paris, Sebastien Mabre-Cramoisy, 1672.
Map size: 36 x 48 cm.
Located between pages 86 and 87. Dablon says of this map:
It was drawn by two fathers of considerable intelligence, interested in research and very accurate, who wished to set down nothing they had not seen with their own eyes. For this reason they have shown only the beginnings of Lake Huron and Lake Illinois... because they do not have first-hand knowledge of some parts of these lakes, they prefer to leave the work partly imperfect rather than to issue it with inaccuracies, as always happens in such cases when the mere report of others is relied on.
