What to Include in Your Requests
When you send a permissions request to email@example.com the following information should be included in the email:
- Course Name
- Contact Person
- Phone number and email address for contact
- Estimated course enrollment
- Copy center where you would like your materials printed (if applicable)
- EFS account number (if applicable)
- Complete citation information for each source
- Book or Journal Title
- Chapter or Article Title
- Harvard Business Publishing # (if applicable)
- Page Numbers
- ISBN (if known)
After your request has been received, we will verify the citation and begin the process of obtaining the permissions. Please note that incomplete citation information can delay your requests. Without complete citations, there may be additional work required on our end before we are able to submit your requests to publishers. Because of this, please try to include all relevant information for your sources. After the permissions have been acquired you will receive a PDF summary of the costs. If changes are required, please contact us as soon as possible.
