Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find SPSS?

Answer:

Two of the SMART Learning Commons locations (Walter and Wilson Libraries) each have one computer with SPSS installed. On 2/1/2012, there were plans to install SPSS on one computer in Magrath Library. They are marked with a sign indicating that the station is reserved for SPSS users. Ask at a library service desk if you cannot find the right one. You must be a University of Minnesota student, staff or faculty member to use these stations.

Outside the Libraries, most of the OIT student computer labs have the SPSS Legacy Viewer, but only a few of them have the full SPSS (and AMOS) software. As of 2/3/2012, these are the labs with full SPSS software:

B50 Magrath
Coffman Memorial Union
Coffey 50
HHH50
LES220/230 (formerly Votech)
Walter 103
