What if I checked out a book for a friend and now I'm being fined for it?
Answer:
You are responsible for the use of your library account and library card.
If you borrowed a library item for a friend, colleague, or professor, you are solely responsible for its return and any associated fines accrued if it is returned late. If the item is not returned, you are responsible for paying the replacement cost ($100) and a $15 processing fee.
