How do I access library research databases from off-campus?
Getting Access Off-Campus
If you use links from our site, you will need to enter your U of M ID which will allow you access to licensed databases. Other options for off-campus access to licensed library resources include:
- Log in to Virtual Private Network (VPN) (you will need to download it to your computer)
- Save the Libraries' Proxy Bookmarklet to your browser and click on it to reload the page as a U of M affiliate
Users with Off-campus Access
Off-campus access to licensed library databases is available to
- Current students (i.e., those registered for at least one credit or the GRAD 999 zero-credit registration option)
See the Borrowing Privileges & Fines page for further details.
