Getting the Full Text

Once you have found an article, make sure it will be useful for your paper or assignment. Remember to think about evaluation like timeliness, perspective/intent, and authority. The abstract or summary of the article can be helpful to do this. Next, be sure you can get the full text. Some databases will include the full text in the database. Look for the words Full Text or PDF or HTML Full Text:
click on PDF or HTML Full Text links
Some of the databases only give you an abstract or summary of the article but you can click the "Find It" to connect to the full text if we have it. The "Find it" button will connect you to the full text. Clicking Find It tells you one of three things about your article:
1. The full text of your article is available in another database.

3. The article is not available either electronically or in print, but you can get it through a service called Interlibrary Loan.
