Published Tests: Many tests are commercially published and are sold via the test publisher's website.
Access to tests may be restricted to those with professional standing with verifiable credentials (for example: licensed psychologists). Refer to the publisher's website for details on credentials required for access to specific tests.
- Unpublished tests
Unpublished tests are those which are not available commercially.
Information about these tests may be found in journal articles, monographs, or from the test author.

- Test Link: ETS Test Collection Database (Educational Testing Service)
The Test Collection at ETS (TestLink) is a database of more than 25,000 tests and other measurement devices most of which were created by authors outside ETS/ With information about tests from the early 1900s to the present, the Test Collection at ETS is the largest compilation in the world/
Some are available Tests in Microfiche (TIM), housed in the Wilson Library Reference Room (Microfiche Set 129). Only those identified as: Test Acronyms... TIM are available on microfiche. The microfiche are arranged numerically by the numbers given each title in the database. The other 19,000+ tests are available from ETS or other sources.
To obtain a list of the whole TIM Collection from the ETS Test Collection Database, select Test Acronyms as a search method & click search. Then enter TIM* in the search box.

Dissertations and theses from over 1000 universities. Doctoral dissertations are indexed for almost all North American graduate schools and many European universities. Masters theses from selected schools only.

This version of the ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) database is licensed by the MINITEX Library Information Network with state appropriations from the Minnesota Higher Education Services Office (MHESO) and the Minnesota Department of Education, and provides access to education-related journal and non-journal literature.
Going back to 1806, this is the most comprehensive database for psychological research. With a little guidance from this tutorial, you'll be able to go from a general idea to a very precise set of results of scholarly materials.

This is the primary source of journal article for the health sciences. You can search MEDLINE and preMEDLINE databases with full text access to all MEDLINE e-journals subscribed to by the University of Minnesota TC Libraries. MEDLINE is the National Library of Medicine's bibliographic database/article index that contains over 17 million references to journal articles. Coverage is from 1949 to the present. Over 5200 journals worldwide in over 37 languages are accessible.

Many books contain information about educational & psychological tests. One way to search is to do a keyword search using the name of the test. Other search terms to use include: educational measurement, educational tests and measurements, occupational aptitude tests, personality assessment, psychological tests, psychiatric rating scales, psychometrics, scaling social sciences, and vocational interests testing.
