Paging Services

Magrath Library staff will retrieve materials for patrons requiring special assistance. Paging is available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; and at other times when backup desk coverage is available.


The nearest accessible parking is located in Gortner Avenue Ramp, and Lot 104.

Building Entrances

Easiest access is via the entrances on the north side of the building on Buford Ave. There is a power-assisted door on the basement-level door from the Gortner Ave. Ramp, however elevator access must be arranged by calling 612-624-2215.


An elevator serving the Ground, First and Second Floors is located in the main lobby. Access to the basement level requires staff assistance, and can be arranged during open hours by calling 612-624-2215.


Accessible restrooms are available on the Basement Level, First Floor and Second Floor.

Computers and Adaptive Technology

All our public computers have either ZoomText or the accessibility suite of Windows Utilities (ctrl+U) installed. An Adaptive Technology lab is available in 307 Wilson Library, and the Get It service can be used to deliver materials from Magrath Library for pick-up in Wilson Library. The Computer Accommodations Program website has more information on adaptive technology available on campus.

Disability Services Article Delivery

Disability Services Article Delivery is a service provided to students with visual or mobility impairments. Disability Services Article Delivery delivers books to the eligible student's campus address. Students may also request an article from journal or a chapter from a book to be delivered electronically. (For delivery to the circulation desk of choice see Get It).

Proxy Cards

Any student, staff, and faculty member with a mobility or visual impairment may request a proxy card for his or her personal assistant to charge out library materials. For further information contact the Circulation Desk at Wilson Library, (612) 624-3321.
