Where are they located?
The Music Library's reserve collection is housed behind the circulation desk. To check out reserve materials, patrons should write down the call number and give this to the desk attendant.
Checking out Reserve items
Reserve books, periodicals, scores, and LPs are available for 3 hour loans during the day. If you check out an item(s) less then 3 hours before close, the item(s) back an hour after we open the following day (9:00 AM weekdays, 2:00 PM weekends; see our Hours page). CDs can be listened to and videos can be viewed only in the Music Library. Patrons are allowed to check out a maximum of three reserve items at a time (including audiovisual materials, but these only for room use).
Your professor might put their personal copy of a book or score on reserve. That will be available at the circulation desk for in room use.
