The Breakerspace is a free-to-use, student-run makerspace managed by the Libraries. You are welcome in the space regardless of your major, year, or skill level. If you're a student, all the equipment and materials are free. Have fun, be safe, be kind, and report broken equipment.

The Libraries value knowledge, openness, service, collaboration, and diversity. The Breakerspace team is driven to provide a welcoming place for students to brainstorm, experiment, innovate, and create new things.

The Space

Our equipment and workspace is housed in a 700 square foot repurposed classroom on the second floor of Walter Library next to the SMART Learning Commons. The room has large tables to work, dry erase boards, and neighborhoods for each type of equipment. We host workshops and demos regularly during the semester.
