Plant Pathology Library

About

The Plant Pathology Library after it first opened, featured on the cover of "Aurora Sporealis."

The Plant Pathology Library is a subject-specific branch that's more than just a reading room. We are a fully-functioning part of the University Libraries and have over 12,000 volumes – including electronic resources – and a number of on-site amenities including our meeting room, compendiums, public computers, rare books and quiet study areas.

We are funded largely by the Plant Pathology Library Endowment Fund which was started in 1979 by members of the U of MN's Department of Plant Pathology for the long-term preservation of the library's space and collections. We share a special relationship with the department and house a number of their graduate theses, publications and their annual alumni newsletter "Aurora Sporealis" which we often help them produce.

Please visit the Plant Pathology Selected Resources page, curated by our reference librarian, to begin your research on bacterial diseases, viral diseases, fungal diseases, nematodes, abiotic diseases, tree pathology and general plant pathology.
