This 60 minute session won't give you all the answers to copyright issues that arise in teaching at the University. It will, however, give you several options for course materials that are 100%, no-doubt-about-it, free of copyright issues. We will talk about solid options for both face-to-face and online instruction. The session will also emphasize connections with University resources for more in-depth copyright learning, getting permissions, making good use of Moodle, and more.
Note that this session will NOT talk about fair use, which is often a key element of instruction decisions, but is immediately followed by another 60 minute session that -does- engage with fair use in instructional contexts. The Instructors Crash Course on Fair Use is also available at other times.
To request disability accommodations, please contact the instructor at least one week prior to the workshop.
