Includes coverage of physics and geophysics (approximately 220,000 abstracts). Primarily indexes journal articles, conference proceedings, NASA reports, and many Ph.D. theses.

Current to January 2011. Relevant to geobiology.

The National Directory of Geoscience Data Repositories is a report of repositories holding geoscience data, particularly cores, cuttings, and paper records. This report was compiled by the American Geological Institute in 1996.


Contains terms and definitions from the USGS Geology of the National Parks website, which include minerals, geologic deposits, features, landforms and processes, and geologic time periods.

Handbooks and Manuals
