Business Source Premier database includes both scholarly journals and periodicals for practitioners. Locate full-text coverage to more than 2,800 journals in business, economics, political science and public administration. Coverage dates vary by title. Selected Datamonitor company reports and EIU country documents are also available.
This resource is licensed by the MINITEX Library Information Network with state appropriations from the Minnesota Higher Education Services Office (MHESO) and the Minnesota Department of Education.

United States and Other Countries: For Education Topics use ERIC CSA for Find It access to U of M e-journals; ERIC is the Education Resources Information Center. It provides access to education-related journal and non-journal literature. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, it provides full citations and abstracts for journal articles, books, curricula, government documents, dissertations, reports, and other educational materials.

Connect to Google Scholar through the Libraries' web site to gain off-campus access to all the articles and journals in full text in the Libraries. Use Google Scholar to find articles from a wide variety of academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories and universities, as well as scholarly articles available across the web. Academic or Scholarly Articles Subject Indexes

Covers the social sciences, including anthropology, history, industrial relations, information science and library science, law, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, psychiatry, political science, public health, social issues, social work, sociology, substance abuse, urban studies, and women's studies.
Provides bibliographic citations, plus author abstracts "for approximately 60% of the articles in the database." Each citation also includes a list of references cited in the source article. In addition, it is possible to retrieve a list of works that have cited a specific author or a specific earlier work.
Indexes articles, reviews, letters, etc. from over "1,950 journals across 50 social sciences disciplines. It also indexes individually selected, relevant items from over 3,300 of the world's leading scientific and technical journals."

Primary Source Materials


The Conference Board Business Knowledge Research Collection is a searchable database of full-text research reports on the latest issues in business management and US and global economics. Topics include: business trends, leadership decisions, performance excellence, corporate governance, HR, productivity, customer relationship management and more. Economics material includes US and global economic indicators and analysis and forecasts of US and international economic conditions.
