Most are reference maps produced by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, and therefore carry no copyright. Privately produced maps are made available via links. Note that many of the images are too large to be printed on letter-sized paper.

iPOLL is a collection of polling sources from the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research. It includes surveys from 150 polling organizations that include all major news outlets, Gallup polls, and other research institutions. Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world. Data-Planet Statistical Datasets offers powerful capabilities to compare & contrast multiple data series, perform statistical calculations on the data, and customize output views.

The Statistical Abstract of the United States database provides enhanced online access to key federal statistical tables covering demographics, economics, and social indicators. The Statistical Abstract, in publication since 1878, is a key starting point for determining the statistical measures used by the United States government. Updated monthly.

These statistical abstracts are generally issued by the national statistical offices of foreign governments and contain country-level data not easily found elsewhere.
