Arts, Architecture & Landscape Architecture Librarian

Architecture & Landscape Architecture Library; 210 Rapson Hall

As the arts and architecture librarian, with advanced studies in the fine arts, art history, theater and dance, and architecture, I oversee the acquisitions for the visual and performing arts research collections, except for music, and support research in these areas with a multi-disciplinary approach. I support classes (large lecture and seminars) by teaching research methods and guiding research strategies that incorporate varying formats from digital to special collections. I am available to work with researchers (faculty, students, and unaffiliated University patrons) who need assistance with basic questions to those with more complex or in-depth needs. My own research and writing is focused on social justice in the arts and the ways libraries preserve and make available alternative press literature, including zines, artists books, and communication art.
