The University of Minnesota’s 1:Button Studios are fully automated HD video recording spaces with professional studio lighting and sound equipment. They are set up to record high-quality video projects without any knowledge of lights and cameras. There are currently four 1:Button Studio locations on campus.
How do I book the studio?
Book your studio time on the Reservations page. If you need to modify an existing reservation, please use the link provided in your confirmation email, or contact any of our 1:Button Studio locations for assistance.
Where are the studios?
Studios are located in the Bio-Medical Library, Magrath Library, Walter Library, and the Rarig Center. Check the location links at right for specific details for that studio.
Who may use the studio?
The 1:Button Studio may be reserved by University of Minnesota faculty, students and staff free of charge. Activities must be in accordance with our Library Use Policy and the University's Acceptable Use of Information Technology Resources.
How long may I book the studio for?
The studio may be booked for up to 4 hours at a time. If you do not arrive within 15 minutes after your reservation begins, your reservation may be canceled and other users can book the space.
