About

I'm responsible for providing bibliographic access to cartographic materials in all formats, including print and digital maps as well as GIS data and resources. I create and refine descriptive records in the library's catalog; lead projects to catalog previously uncataloged materials; enrich and refine metadata in repositories such as UMedia and the BTAA Geoportal; and assist in the development of standards and best practices for map and geospatial metadata. I work with cartographic collections across the UMN-Twin Cities libraries, primarily partnering with the Borchert Map Library.
