Until further notice, the University of Minnesota Libraries Archives and Special Collections are open by appointment only and appointments are limited to UMN affiliates. Appointments must be made one week in advance of your visit to enable us to page and quarantine collection materials before use.
Please contact email@example.com for assistance or, if known, the curator of the collecting area you wish to use. We will continue to provide scans of requested research materials whenever possible, especially for our non-campus clientele.
Researchers planning a visit:
Make an appointment. Please request your materials 2 - 3 business days in advance. This ensures we have time to reply and that your requested material is ready for you.

When you arrive at the Andersen Library, please register in room 15 in the Maxine Wallin Research Center (Wallin Center) on the ground floor. The staff in the Wallin Center will help you.
Our materials are used only in the Wallin Center reading room; they do not circulate. The reading room and the Wallin Center at Andersen Library is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m most weeks. The IHRCA office is typically open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m., 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.
