43rd Annual Kerlan Award Ceremony: Jennifer L. Holm and Matthew Holm
Siblings and collaborators Jennifer L. and Matthew Holm, best known for the popular Babymouse series, will be honored Spring 2018 as this year's Kerlan Award winners.
For past attendees of the award ceremony, please note that this year's Kerlan Award will be a free Tuesday evening event, rather than a Saturday afternoon lunch.
38th Naomi C. Chase Lecture: Kevin Henkes

The 2018 Naomi C. Chase Lecture will feature award winning author and illustrator Kevin Henkes, whose career has spanned decades, dozens of titles, and numerous awards. Among his many critically acclaimed titles are two Caldecott Honor Books, Owen and Waiting, as well as two Newbery Honor Books, Olive's Ocean and The Year of Billy Miller. Henkes grew up in Racine, Wisconsin and currently resides in Madison, Wisconsin.
